OET Speaking Tasks

Hi I am sharing few OET speaking tasks here for you to rehearse.

OET Speaking is a Role play, you are assigned a task and get three minutes to read it, You can make notes, Underline the relevant sections. The task will be a 5 Minutes conversation between you and the Interlocutor, This is Role play, You play the role of a health care professional. while the Interlocutor would play the part of a patient or Ptient’s relative.

For personalised coaching on OET writing and speaking, please visit www.vaedus.com or call / Whattsapp: +91-9958879262

The conversation is about educating a lay man, You are supposed to ask relevant questions about the symptoms, You should explain why the condition arises, what are the possible causes, symptomps and the line of treatment that the health care system suggests.

Further you role is to comfort the patient, assure them that the condition can be treated with medicines or care. Assuring the patient and making them comfortable will help you get higher score.

You should clearly inform of next action, that is tests to be conducted, lifestyle modifications and suggest an appropriate line of treatment.

I strongly recomment you to look at these sample questions and practice these.

One important factor to be kept in mind is you have only 5 minutes to address every section of the question, that is pay attention to time management.
