Five steps for doctor’s role play

1. Find out, reason for the visit, what is the ailment

2. Advice: The patient in an assuring manner, this will help him/her get comfortable

3. Explain: the disease, as to why does it happen, precaustions, treatment avaiable etc.

4. Reassure: The patient as to how you will be able to take care of it.

5. Provide recommendation: like referring to a specialist, tests to be conducted ex.EEG, CT scan, MRI, Follow up visit etc.
