There are four modules in the test
- Speaking:You get 6 Questions in this section, for each question, you get a short time to prepare, for questions one you get a question on familiar topic and question two you are asked to share your opinion on a familiar topic, for questions three, four, five and six your response will be based on an audio.
- Listening:This section of the test measures your ability to understand conversations and lectures in English. This test is of 60 minutes and you get 34 -35 questions. You listen to audios and answer questions based on the audio.
- Reading:The reading test measures your ability to understand academic passages in English. In this test you get three passages. You get 60 minutes to read the passages and answer questions based on it. Generally there are 40-42 questions in this test.
- Writing:This section of the test measures your ability to write in English to communicate in an academic environment. For question one you get to read a passage and listen to an audio on the same topic, generally both contradict each other and you are required to write a response usinf both the passage and audio.
